Abstract While ancillary services were initially provided by legacy carriers on short- and medium-haul flights, the emergence of long-haul low-cost has contributed to adoption flights as well. Nevertheless, limited attention been paid specifics how much passengers are willing pay for such services. In this research, we aim assess willingness various show these values differ depending passenger characteristics. Based a choice-based conjoint analysis, first investigate importance five (checked baggage, inflight meal, seat selection, priority boarding, onboard Wi-Fi) in flight ticket selection process. addition, measure passengers’ entire sample subsets respondents based trip motive age. Regarding motive, reveal that leisure more most than business passengers. By contrast, when distinguishing between millennial nonmillennial respondents, neither subsample is globally services, with differences each service. Finally, compare estimated duration contrasting impact (with either positive or null pay). our comparison actual fees charged airlines allows us draw conclusions their attractiveness
